Intimate Chateau Wedding in Bordeaux, FRANCE
Nestled in the countryside of the South of France, Chateau Fengari was the chosen setting for his intimate chateau wedding shoot near Bordeaux, France.
Set upon acres of lush greenery, this stately chateau has a private pond, swimming pool, tennis courts, and other amenities. With its resident peacock eager to welcome you for your weekend wedding, this chateau truly is a Destination from a vacation for families and friends to connect, create memories, and to celebrate love and the couple’s love for each other.
For this intimate chateau wedding shoot, the bride and groom got ready in separate indoor spaces.
The ceremony was held outdoors, and took advantage of the chateau and its lush greens as as the background. The colours cream, coral, and peach paired perfectly with the chateau’s façade.
Although a second dress was not used, the bride did have a second look. Something a bit more sleek and chic for the outdoor dinner reception.
Because this intimate chateau wedding reflects a destination wedding in Bordeaux, we really wanted to incorporate elements of Bordeaux into the details. We decided to gift canelés, which are original to the Bordeaux region, as wedding favours for guests to enjoy after the celebration.
We also intentionally set the silverware according to the rules for a French table, with the silverware facing down in order to showcase its silver hallmark stamp.
